Dat Tran is a creative professional, with a dedicated passion for his work. As a teenager, Tran worked in his mother’s salon, Linda Cameo, at 1084 Queen St. West at the corner of Queen and Dovercourt. It was there that Dat learned the basics of his craft, and then decided it wasn’t for him. It wasn’t until he saw the Japanese tv show Beautiful Life, a drama set in a hair salon, that he truly fell in love with the profession. Over the years Dat Tran has made a name for himself in the fashion industry. Tran’s work can be seen in publications such as Salon Magazine, Zink Magazine, Chloe Magazine and YYZ Living Magazine to name a few.
Israel takes his unique approach to modern hair cutting, constantly taking inspiration from the ever-changing street culture and art scene. This translates into styles that you love the moment you walk out of the salon, but also a style that you can recreate at home yourself! Israel has been a regular face on styling teams for Toronto Fashion Week. He has been a regular on the Marilyn Denis Show styling many celebrity guests as well as on-air makeovers of show guests. He has made the privilege of working on styling teams for Oscar de la Renta, Giambattista Valli, Marchesa and many others. Fashion without freedom isn’t fashion.
Her creative flow has developed over the past 13 years and she has worked along top stylists in the industry who have helped inspire her to reach new levels in creativity. For Lindsey, learning is key, and she spent 9 years as an artist and colour educator for Redken, becoming a Redken Colour Certified. During that time she had the opportunity to perfect her skill set and work at various trade shows and regional classes, while also appearing on The Marilyn Denis Show, The Social, and at Toronto Fashion Week.
Having trained with some of the top hairstylists in Vancouver, Rhys made the move to Toronto almost 4 years ago to pursue his dream of becoming a top stylist in the big city. Specializing in cuts and colours, he can take your dream and make it a reality. With over 7 years experience, Rhys has been a part of hair competitions and worked back stage, and is continually taking classes to upgrade his skills to bring back to the chair. With his friendly and easy going West Coast attitude, he will make you feel at ease while you both create some magic with your tresses. Ask for his signature “Big, Bouncy Blowout” and you’ll leave feeling like a supermodel!
Tori is an extremely outgoing, bubbly person. As a mixed medium artist, she looks at hair the exact same: a canvas to work with. When you sit down in tori's chair, she analyzes your hair and finds a suitable style that will fit your day-to-day lifestyle.
Nikki Levesque grew up in a small town just outside of Orangeville Ontario, coming from a family of Hairstylists she has always had a passion for hair and the beauty industry. Whether it be styling, to cuts, giving you a new beautiful colour or an effortlessly natural looking balayage, Nikki's number one goal is to make sure you fall in love with your hair again. After receiving her education from Marvel beauty school in Yorkville she began her Career at a very reputable downtown Toronto salon. She has been in the industry for a little under 3 years. Being a new recruit to the Dat Salon team, she is excited to expand and enhance her knowledge and grow as a Davines stylist!
Eduardo Mella is a celebrity hair and make up artist that has been creating beauty for twelve years. Born of Chilean descent and an appreciation for hard work. Eduardo works with an understanding of how to make every women look her most beautiful. Eduardo's clients include: Selena Gomez, Hilary Duff, Mayim Bialik, Leah Miller and Mary Murphy to mention a few. Eduardo states a career highlight has been assisting Sam McKnight. His print clients include; Kohl's, Vera Wang, Hudson Bay, Susie Sheir, Winners, Town Shoes, Pink Tartan.
Kenneth Shares over 26 years solid years of experience in the fashion a beauty industry. He performs as a world class make-up and has teamed up with the most luxuries cosmetic bands. Kenneth has worked for Chanel, Tom Ford and Lancôme. His keen eye for beauty and his rebel hart keep him at the top of the beauty industry.
