Dat Tran

Dat’s earliest exposure to the hair industry was when he worked in his mother’s salon as a teenager. He later rediscovered his own unique passion for hair and opened up a hair salon of his own in 2010, appropriately named Dat Salon.
He also immersed himself in the freelance hair industry and is now considered a go-to professional for hairstyling. His avenues include editorial photo shoots, music videos, runway, bridal, special events, and everyday salon hair services.
Considered one of his greatest accomplishments is his published work, which has been featured in various well-known magazines such as Canadian Hairdresser, Salon Magazine, Chloe, and ACF Fashion Magazine. He has worked with celebrities such as Erica, Durance, Jonathan Patrick Moore, Tanya Kim, and Christophe Willem, to name but a few.
Dat is a professional who is extremely driven, time efficient, and has an eye for the smallest detail; all this paired with his easygoing personality makes him a great choice for any service.

David Malcolm Peers

With 20 + years of experience in the industry David would like to invite you to be indulge. Inspired by his mother, who was a stylist, he moved to London, England to study his craft at the Vidal Sassoon academy.  After two years abroad he came home to Canada and started working at Vidal Sassoon in Yorkville.  He was born in Montreal but has travelled to and lived in many places, like Ottawa and Vancouver.  David is a multifaceted stylist, who enjoys all aspects of the business:  photo shoots, fashion shows and bridal events.
Being a technical haircutter and a talented colourist David is always on the cutting edge, creating natural looks and easy to take care of wash and wear styles.
David keeps himself up to date on all the new looks for Fall, winter, spring and summer. He changes his clients’ looks according to the seasons with subtle variations in colour and cuts.
With a wide knowledge of products David feels confident he can give you the look you are looking for.

Shawnna Downing

Shawnna Downing is a professional makeup artist who is constantly inspired by life, people and fashion. Having studied her trade in Vancouver, her hard work and talent got her recognized at IMATS Vancouver 2011, where she took home 2nd place in the beauty/fantasy competition. She now resides in Toronto and has been published in a range of publications including YVR, Canadian Hairdresser and Chloe Magazine. You may also have seen her work on TV, on such programs as ETalk, ET Canada and the Marylin Dennis Show. She continues to bring her uniquely fresh and positive attitude with her as she pursues herfreelance career.
